It's not that I don't have the energy but sometimes work can be just too demanding. I covered a 200 mile journey and interviewed people for 2 hours today. I am exhausted, so I am going to do something I rarely ever do. Nap!

You have to keep some things 'real' For me one of them is Facebook. The people i have on my friends list are people I know and have talked to in real life, and mostly all face-to-face with the exception of three or four Americans. Even then, I have spoken to them on the phone and shared conversation and feelings with, or have shared friendship in some shape or form. So, please don't be offended if you request to be on my Facebook and I don't accept.. It's just I like to keep some things real and don't want a long list of people that I don't actually know. But, thanks for the thought...

I do the same, and I limit those onmy facebook, often people get upset when I do not accept them... makes me uncomfortable... but I would be even more uncomfortable if I accept them... I still hate it... and I do not get upset when someone refuses me, I beleive they have the right to their private garden.

It's difficult being the only one here to look after Mum. Trying to juggle business, looking after home, hubby and making meals leaves little precious time to call in with Dad. He is often neglected so I can cover the other stuff, and I feel guilty at times as my visits are all too infrequent and irregular. Sometimes, I just wish there were two of me to go around :(

Sister will be home 4th September .. Roll on then.

Life has been a kind of social whirlwind of late but I knew it all had to come to a grinding stop today. I have an important exam on Tuesday so I am swotting up on Health and Safety legislation preparing for it. I took time out though to go for a spin session at the gym this morning, and will allow the same 'time-out' tomorrow. It's tedious having to study, as I'd much rather be out socialising LOL.

Completed 5 sets of 80kg leg weights, bench pressed a mummy load of liron, pushed up until I fell down..all strong woman stuff all followed by 45 minute RPM session. Refuelled with protein.

Been invited to join a cycle club.. I am not sure about that. My little mountain bike is pretty cool for an old girl like me, but those professional bikes with the wee thin wheels. Ga..well I am not sure. In any case it's practise night for beginners on Thursday, and I have an inkling I will go along! For the craic >>

I am glad I saved all the wonderful honour comments my friends had left me since the inception of the “honour” system. Thank-you so much to those who did call by for the thoughts and writings you left me.

From the inception of this honour gig I remember thinking it couldn’t possibly work, and had asked if the “honour” could be reset every so often so it could benefit the full membership of Vampire Rave were the top ten would be interchangeable, only to be jeered at with words akin to you can’t reset “honour! ”

Well, now I get what I wanted back then … a system that everyone can have a chance to participate in, and be honoured, or not as the case may be for their conduct in Vampire Rave. It’s now relevant, functional, product specific, and most importantly subject to change.
